ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Janet Garber believes writing sustains her, especially in these difficult times. She writes across many genres, from journalism to horror, poetry to erotica, fiction to creative nonfiction. One common element: humor which runs through her work like chocolate through a marble cake. Her work has appeared in dozens of university and literary journals such as RavenPerch, Tigershark, Forge Lit Magazine, Chicken Soup for the Soul, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Working Mother and elsewhere. Her first novel, Dream Job: Wacky Adventures of an HR Manager was a finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards and a runner-up in the Best Indie Books Awards. She’s also published two nonfiction books, I Need a Job, Now What? and Getting a Job. Her second novel is The French Lover’s Wife (SparkPress).
