ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Born and raised in the arid hills of southwestern Nebraska, Laurence T. Mullanix is a lifelong devotee of history, linguistics, and ecology. When he isn’t concocting horrid and fantastical stories, he moonlights as an amateur board game designer and as a fledgling podcaster, and more occasionally as an actual professional. He currently resides in Omaha with his cat, Manfred von Katzstein. “Old Man Grins” is his first story to appear in print.
